A 1v1 face-off with purple and red lighting, rim-lit characters and ground shadows. Made for Cyris (@CyrisGames).
Open the breakdownThe brief. A PvP 1v1 with no text, so the lighting and the face-off had to tell the story.
The revision. The client asked for shadows and softer outlines so both players sit inside the scene. I added ground shadows and purple and red rim lights.

Gold metallic numerals with confetti and stars, matched to a celebratory yellow background.
Layered oversized numerals and a repeated background word give depth behind the character, in a purple palette.
